Recap: Carl Hancock Rux with Lon Kaiser at Mass MoCA

The performance at Mass MoCA with Carl Hancock Rux and Lon Kaiser was a great success!

With Lon Kaiser designing soundscapes for Carl’s Poetry, drawing from textures of the seasons and urban landscapes it became a wonderful backdrop to piano, poetry and occasional lap steel.
The show was sold out and extremely well received. Lon was running Ableton Live 9 coupled with Ableton’s dedicated controller surface PUSH and performed on an upright and a lap steel constructed by master luthier Tim Frick.

Carl performed from collections of essays and poems he had written along with new material.
